When Will Rishabh Pant Return to Action?
Pant recently completed his mandatory fitness test at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru alongside players including Ravindra Jadeja, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shreyas Iyer.
He is not part of India’s upcoming Afghanistan T20I series, with Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan selected as the wicketkeeping options.
His chances of featuring in the upcoming ODI series against West Indies also appear uncertain, with India’s plans for the 2027 World Cup potentially giving priority to KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan.
That could mean Pant’s next major international assignment comes in Test cricket.
